Eligibility Requirements:

To complete your exchange or buyback, ensure all eligibility requirements are met:

• The product must be in its original condition.
• The original or a copy of the invoice should be with the product.
• The product certificate given at the time of purchase should be provided. If you don't have original certificates, don’t worry. We can get it for you.
• The individual seeking to effectuate the exchange must furnish valid government-issued identification proof.

Please note: Buyback transactions are subject to the same eligibility criteria as exchanges.

How to Process Exchange or Buyback

• To initiate an exchange/buyback, you can visit the nearest SONANI store or simply email us at sales@sonanijewels.com expressing your interest in either exchange or buyback.
• If you're visiting the store, please remember to carry your purchased jewellery, The original invoice or a copy, The product certificate, A valid government-issued ID.
• If you're reaching out via email, kindly attach the same documents to help us process your request smoothly.

Using Pickup Service

• If selecting a pickup service, we will send a tamper-proof packet to your address. Place your jewellery inside, seal it securely, and hand it over to our logistics partner.
• Make sure to collect a pickup receipt, tracking ID, or SMS confirmation for your records.
• We highly recommend using insured courier services to ensure the safety of your jewellery in transit.

Evaluation and Value Calculation

• Once your jewellery is collected, our Quality Assurance (QC) team will inspect the piece thoroughly and ensure that it meets eligibility criteria. This verification process can take up to 10 working days.
• After evaluation, we calculate the value of your jewellery with full transparency, Please note that All exchange and buyback requests are subject to inspection and approval by our Quality Assurance (QC) team.

Post Evaluation Steps For Exchange

• For in-store exchanges, your exchange value will be adjusted directly against the new jewellery of your choice.
• For online exchanges, once we get the confirmation from QC, your exchange value will be credited to your Sonani Jewels online account. You can then shop from our website. If your selected product costs more, simply pay the difference.

For Buyback

• After evaluation, your buyback value will be transferred securely to your provided bank account or credited to your Sonani Jewels wallet, depending on the option you chose at the time of initiating the request.

Terms and Conditions:

Customised jewellery/ Made To Order jewellery (including personalised or engraved products) is not eligible for a 15-day Money-Back or 15-day Exchange. But eligible for Lifetime Exchange and Buyback.

Lab grown diamond jewellery bought from Sonani Stores/Website (www.sonanijewels.com ) are eligible for Exchange/Buyback.

Lab-grown gemstones are eligible for 80% Exchange and 80% Buyback.

Shipping charges for returns, exchanges/buyback or pickups are the responsibility of the customer.

Recertification costs, including shipping for returned items, will be borne by the customer.

In case the exchange value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer will have to pay the difference.

These policies do not apply to international orders due to customs and logistics reasons.

Pure gold items, such as gold coins, chains, biscuits, and pearls or synthetic gemstones without diamonds, are not eligible for Buyback or Exchange.

Refunds under Buyback will be processed to the registered bank account After the 10 working days of evaluation.

In case, any coupon, discount or promo codes were used during the original purchase, the Exchange/ Buyback amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the coupon, discount or promo codes, as applicable.

If the discount was on making charges, the discount will not be deducted at the Lifetime Exchange Value.

If the discount was on the gold value or diamond value then the entire discount will be deducted at the time of Lifetime Exchange Value.

If the discount was on MRP, then the discount will be deducted on the actual making charges of the design while arriving at the final Lifetime Exchange Value.

All exchange and buyback requests are subject to inspection and approval by our Quality Assurance (QC) team.

Please note that you may utilize your jewellery exchange and/or lifetime exchange value within 180 days of the transaction date.

For Lifetime Exchange and Buyback, making charges and any discounts applied during the original purchase will not be refunded.

GST will be charged separately on new products during exchange. All buyback and exchange value calculations are exclusive of GST for clarity.

Valuations for Buyback and Exchange are based on prevailing market rates determined by Sonani.

Any complementary jewellery/coin received during the offer period with the original purchase must be returned during Exchange/ Buyback. If the gift is not returned then the amount of the free gift will be deducted at that time.

Sonani reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any policy at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
